MR DRY 185
All the irregular and accidental construction joints shall be made watertight using Mr. DRY185, hydro-swelling polymeric paste. The paste shall be formulated to exhibit low premature swelling (less than 50% within 12 hours) and shall not release super absorbents during its service life. The re-swelling paste shall have low swelling pressure; not exceeding 0.25 MPa at full swelling capacity.

1.Simple use, MR. DRY 185 swelling paste is supplied in ready-to-use cartridges. 2. High swelling capacity in contact with water. 3. Highly resistant to chemicals and saline liquids (see chemical resistance table). 4. Good adhesion to dry and moist surfaces (concrete, steel, and plastics). 5. Reversible swelling process. 6. Hardening prior to concreting is min. 24 hours. 7. The swelling paste should be protected against premature swelling. 8. When concreting, take care to ensure that the expanding paste is fully covered by concrete.
Coverage may depend upon substrate approx. 4 m for 10 mm diameter per 310 ml cartridge. The number of 10 mm dia rows to be placed at the construction joint are depend on joint width. In particular, 150 mm joint will require one row, for 300 mm width joint 2 rows, and so on.
